SonicWall Capture Client is a unified client offering that delivers multiple client protection capabilities through a unified client experience. With a next‐generation malware protection engine powered by SentinelOne, the SonicWall Capture Client delivers advanced threat protection. This article will guide through on how to install the Capture Client for endpoint security.
Since Capture Client is a cloud service, you only need access to a web browser and an Internet connection to access the Capture Console.
Capture Client only supports endpoints (PCs, tablets, etc) running the following operating system:
• Windows 7 or later
• MacOS 10.10 or later
1 GHz Dual-core CPU or better
1 GB RAM or higher if required by OS (recomended 2GB)
2GB frre disk space
Log in to Capture client management https://captureclient.sonicwall.com/
Enter your MysonicWall account Username and password.
Navigate to Management> Clients. Click on the version based on the operating system of your endpoint.
For multi-tenant Capture client console, select the appropriate tenant and download the Capture client version.
Navigate to Management> Clients. Click on the version based on the operating system of your endpoint and verify that you are under the right tenant ID( like attached picture )
Download the capture client and follow the installation wizard.
Follow the instructions on the wizard. Once the installation is complete, download the SonicWall DPI-SSL certificate and install it.
The Capture client will install a system tray icon for easy access and management. All green on the Capture Client Advanced protection means the installation is successful.
